Overview

The firm's Regulatory and Compliance Department has a need for an administrative litigation paralegal to join a dynamic 8-10 attorney team in Richmond, VA.  The paralegal will manage case filings, discovery, hearing/trial preparations and related matters related to utility regulatory proceedings at the State Corporation Commission.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in preparation and filing of testimony, exhibits, pleadings and other materials, including drafting, research, electronic filing, and logistical support.  
  • Assist attorneys and witnesses in preparation of discovery responses, document productions, and eRoom management.
  • Assist in witness and other preparation for evidentiary hearings/trial proceedings.
  • Manage case files and perform other tasks to support litigation teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and strong academic record required. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with attorney and client team members.
