The Firm's Government Investigations and White Collar Litigation group has a need for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team in New York, NY. The Paralegal is relied upon to help manage/organize case files, discovery, regulatory inquiries and government investigations.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting attorneys with preparing legal documents, including regulatory responses, pleadings, briefs, motions, subpoenas, and discovery-related materials.
  • Managing case files and matter documents through e-Rooms.
  • Ensuring filings and e–filings are in compliance with court, agency and SRO rules.
  • Assisting attorneys with discovery, including discovery requests and depositions and witness interviews.
  • Assisting with document review and analysis through various platforms, e.g., Relativity, Concordance, etc.
  • Responsible for document production as needed.
  • Preparing for depositions, witness interviews and investigations.

Qualifications

  • Five or more years of litigation experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, particularly with case files/document management.
  • Experience with document production is highly preferred.
  • Advanced technical skills with Excel and e-discovery platforms (Relativity, Concordance).
