    The Firm's Business & Securities Litigation practice group has a need for a Litigation Paralegal to join its team in Charlottesville, VA. The Paralegal is relied upon to support all aspects for a busy litigation practice, including document review and drafting, data analysis, discovery, depositions and trial preparation for litigation cases. The ideal candidate will have one to three years of relevant work experience and will be a self-starter with strong technological skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Assisting attorneys with large-scale document collection during discovery
    • Managing case files through e-Rooms and document management systems
    • Assisting with large-scale document production and review through various platforms, i.e. Relativity and Concordance
    • Preparing for depositions and trials

    Qualifications

    • Four year degree preferred, and/or one to three years of relevant work experience
    • Paralegal Certification from an ABA accredited program preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat and other legal support software as appropriate
    • Ability to embrace new processes and incorporate new technology to meet client demands as they evolve
