    McGuireWoods LLP has an opportunity for a C#.Net Web Developer to join the team in our Richmond office.  The C# developer is primarily responsible for the planning, development, integration, testing, deployment and troubleshooting of the firm’s internally developed client facing web applications. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in C# web development including heavy exposure to data intensive web applications.  An understanding of the analyzation of data to build predictive models is preferred.  The candidate should also have expertise in responsive web design as well as an understanding of data visualization and user interface design principles.

    Responsibilities

    • Contributes to the daily workflow and planning, development, integration, testing, deployment and troubleshooting of client-facing websites utilizing C# .Net
    • Designs, develops, maintains and tests custom web based software solutions, features and components
    • Interacts with clients on system-related issues and reconciles competing priorities
    • Consults with management, business analysts, stakeholders and program managers to identify, develop and implement development and integration process improvement to achieve new capabilities and benefits for clients

    Qualifications

    • Requires Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, business administration or related field
    • A minimum of five years of hands-on development experience in C# and ASP.Net
    • Experience in SQL Server (SQL 2012/2014) and T-SQL programming including the ability to write database objects such as stored procedures, triggers, indexes, etc.
    • General knowledge in the use of current versions of Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server management Studio and Team Foundation Server
    • Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JQUERY, JavaScript, Bootstrap, LESS/SASS for UI design
    • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
