    The Firm's Business & Securities Litigation practice group has a need for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team in Charlottesville, VA. The Paralegal is relied upon to help manage federal and state court filings, case files, discovery, document productions, depositions and trial preparation for litigation cases.

    • Assisting attorneys with large-scale document collection during discovery.
    • Assisting attorneys with preparing legal documents (IE: pleadings, briefs, motions, subpoenas, and discovery-related materials).
    • Managing case files through e-Rooms and document management systems.
    • Assisting with large-scale document production and review through various platforms, i.e. Relativity.
    • Ensuring filings are in compliance with court rules/filing and e-filing documents (state and federal courts).
    • Preparing for depositions and trials.


    • Two or more years of litigation experience.
    • Experience in document review software such as Relativity, Concordance, etc.
    • Experience with ECF with state and federal courts.
    • Experience preparing for trial in state and federal court.
    • Strong organizational skills, particularly with document management.
