    McGuireWoods LLP has an opening for an Associate Financial Analyst to join our team in the Richmond, VA office.  This role is responsible for generating and preparing the firm’s financial reports for firm management. The ideal candidate will have at least one to two years of financial analysis experience, strong Microsoft Excel skills and attention to detail.

    • Generates/prepares reports and presentations (Monthly, Quarterly and Annually).
    • Performs Ad-hoc Analysis.
    • Assists with Firm budget and budgeting software.
    • Works with multiple assignments from the Finance group.
    • Works with Sr. Financial Analyst to identify trends, comparisons and audit adjustments.
    • Maintains open communication of assignments to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis.


    • Requires Bachelor’s Degree and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Query, IBM Cognos Report Studio, Outlook, and other firm provided software as required.
    • Experience programming with SQL or Python is a plus.
