    The Firm's Business & Securities Litigation practice group has a need for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team in Washington, DC.  The Paralegal is relied on to help manage federal and state court filings, case files, discovery, document productions, depositions and trial preparation for litigation cases.

    • Assisting attorneys with preparing legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, motions, subpoenas, and discovery-related materials
    • Managing case files and matter documents through e-Rooms and docketing systems
    • Ensuring filings are in compliance with court rules and filing and e-filing documents therein, especially in D.C., Virginia, and Maryland state and federal courts
    • Assisting attorneys with discovery, including discovery requests, depositions, and issuing subpoenas
    • Assisting with the compilation, organization, and review of documents and analysis through various platforms, e.g., Relativity, Concordance, etc.
    • Managing and tracking deadlines for dockets and case portfolios
    • Preparing for and attending depositions and trials


    • Three or more years of litigation experience
    • Experience with document review software such as Relativity, Concordance, etc. 
    • Experience with Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker (formerly known as Serengeti Tracker)
    • Experience preparing for and attending depositions and trial
    • Experience with ECF with Federal Courts
    • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, particularly with case files/document management
