    McGuireWoods LLP has an opening for a Corporate Paralegal to join the Debt Finance team located in our Atlanta office. This team is fast-paced and deadline-driven, and the ideal candidate will be able to adapt quickly and will have a general understanding of corporate/transactional work in a large law firm.

    Responsibilities


    • Prepare closing documents for transactions

    • Participate in closings: create/update closing list, distribute documents/signature pages, and draft closing certificates

    • Manage calendars, docket and tickler systems, and assists in meeting deadlines

    • Manage and coordinate checklists for closings

    • Prepare closing binders with attention to collection/follow-up of routine post-closing items and matters

    Qualifications


    • Bachelors degree with 2-4 years of corporate experience at a mid to large-size firm

    • Knowledge of and experience using MS Word, Outlook Calendar and Excel required

    • Knowledge of UCC Article 9 preferred

    • Experience working with loan closing procedures preferred
