    McGuireWoods LLP has an opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist in our Richmond office. The A/P Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing invoice requests and expense reports. The ideal candidate will have two years of experience, excellent customer skills and a proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

    • Review submitted invoice requests or expense reports for accuracy and completeness
    • Research and analyze invoices and expenses to ensure they comply with firm policies or qualify as an exception
    • Schedule and produce payment through the accounting system and distribute payments via mail or electronic transfer
    • Work closely with vendors and employees to resolve problems and provide excellent customer service


    • Requires high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years Accounts Payable experience or equivalent combination of education and previous business experience
    • Customer service orientation and ability to work as part of a dynamic team
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
    • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
