    McGuireWoods has an opportunity for a self-starting, enthusiastic individual to join its Marketing & Business Development team as a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator in our Richmond, VA location. The candidate most closely-aligned with the role will be able to work collaboratively with a remote team, and have experience providing analytical support to a Marketing Department in a professional services environment.

    • Work with marketing systems and shared drives, including maintaining and updating information in the firm’s experience management database and CRM system. Develops processes, procedures, and best practices surrounding the use of marketing systems to drive business development goals and objectives.  
    • Assist with the continued development of the firm’s key account management program, including research, client feedback, and metrics reporting.  
    • Analyze firm marketing activities and track the firm’s return on investment (ROI). 
    • Assist in the collection and analysis of data across functions of the department, including social media, pitches, and events.  
    • Assist with the establishment and management of marketing budget(s), including processing invoices and expenses, reviewing budget history, and ensuring deadlines are met.  


    • Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of two years in a related marketing role – strongly preferred.
    • Highly curious, strong organizational and analytical skills.
    • High competency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills to effectively navigate a diverse group of attorneys and staff.
    • Strong knowledge of relevant existing and new technology.
