    McGuireWoods LLP has an opening for a Post Closing Specialist within our Real Estate Finance Group in our New York office. This position will be responsible for organizing closing documents and preparing closing binders. The ideal candidate will have 1 - 3 years of general/clerical experience in a legal environment, strong organizational skills, and a desire to pursue a career in the legal industry.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare and organize document binders for loan closings
    • Conduct thorough review of each loan package to ensure data is correct, all necessary documents are included and they have been properly executed
    • Once review of the delivery package is complete, coordinate delivery to clients and borrowers
    • Adhere to strict deadlines

    Qualifications

    • Requires high school diploma or equivalent with some college education preferred and one to two years law office clerical or general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) is required
    • Good planning and organizational skills
    • Proficiency with converting and uploading documents to various firm and client e-Rooms and portals
