    McGuireWoods LLP is hiring a Recruiting Coordinator in downtown Richmond, VA to join the firm-wide staff talent acquisition team.  The talent acquisition team is responsible for sourcing, selecting and hiring firm staff across all of our U.S. offices.  As a member of the Human Resources department, the Recruiting Coordinator is accountable for several key processes in our talent acquisition process including interview scheduling, reference and background checking, as well as offer and onboarding tasks.  This is a highly technical position working in multiple database driven systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, experience in recruiting and the ability to communicate in a highly professional manner.

    • Coordinates and schedules interviews across all U.S. offices
    • Conducts reference checks, background screens, and generates electronic offers
    • Facilitates the on-boarding of staff hires as required including collecting and validating I-9’s
    • Maintains staff recruiting and orientation documents and ensures policies are updated
    • Maintains candidate, job and onboarding data in iCIMS
    • Serves as an escalation point for troubleshooting iCIMS data transfers between systems


    • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred or the equivalent of one to two years related human resources, recruiting experience
    • Strong technical aptitude and proficiency including demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn software and consistently seek improvement in technical skills
    • Strong administrative skills and knowledge of basic recruiting policies and procedures
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in regards to all personnel information
    • Excellent communication skills to all levels of staff and management
    • Ability to professionally represent the firm when interacting with internal and external clients
