    McGuireWoods has a need for an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its team in our Atlanta office. This role will service a wide range of transactions and support an active commercial real estate practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of commercial real estate experience, strong organization and multitasking skills, and will embrace a team mentality.

    Responsibilities

    • Reviewing and negotiating title insurance commitments and coverages and reviewing and summarizing exceptions for potential problems
    • Reviewing and negotiating surveys
    • Ordering and reviewing UCC and tax lien search reports
    • Reviewing Purchase/Sale Contracts 
    • Review of Commercial Leases, estoppel certificates and SNDAs
    • Preparing and maintaining closing checklists and timelines
    • Coordinating and organizing documents for multi-state and multi-asset transactions
    • Preparing and negotiating escrow closing instructions

    Qualifications

    • Minumum of 5 years of expereince as a real estate paralegal
    • Ability to think clearly, respond positively, evaluate situations and determine appropriate action and act decisively under pressure
