Overview

The Lateral Partner Recruitment Assistant reports to the Director, Lateral Partner Recruitment. Key responsibilities include supporting the lateral partner recruitment function on a firm-wide basis. In addition, this individual will assist the department in carrying out other various lateral partner-related programs and functions, and other responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Draft/prepare and manage interview schedules, calendar invites, meeting details in conjunction with Lateral Partner Recruiting Coordinator.
  • Solicit and track interview comments from attorneys; circulate to Director for review.
  • Manage lateral partner candidate files.
  • Enter and track candidate submissions in HighQ and cross-reference with LawCruit.
  • Coordinate with reception, meeting support, office administrators for in office interviews.
  • Data entry and data management.
  • Manage filing system.
  • Assist with market and candidate research using various applications.
  • Enter and track expenses.
  • Provide daily and week-end roundups to the team.

Qualifications

  • Exercise good judgment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interface with all levels of staff and management.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 2 years’ professional and relevant work experience.
  • Law firm experience preferred.
